What’s A Typical Day Like at Cumbrian Stone

A typical day at Cumbrian Stone will vary significantly depending on your role, however one thing we do all like is a challenge. Whether you are setting out for hand carving a stone, working out the best way to cut a stone slab to achieve the sizes you require, or designing the stone components for a new project, each day at Cumbrian Stone is always different. There’s always plenty of work to go around too, so if you like to be busy and take pride in your work then we’re sure you’ll fit right in with our team. Our normal working week runs from Monday to Friday, and on occasion some weekend work is also available if you’d like to work some overtime to boost your wage slip.

Full training is provided to all new employees at Cumbrian Stone. This training will vary depending on your role, and there are always opportunities to develop your skills and progress your career with us should you want to learn something new.
